Flu and Covid Vaccination Clinics Autumn 2024
We are starting to book appointments for Flu vaccinations.
Poplar Grove Practice Flu clinics start from 3rd October 2024
Poplar Grove Practice will be starting its annual flu vaccination programme from the 3rd of October 2024 and is inviting patients to get in touch to book their appointments
Patients with a mobile phone number or email registered with the practice will be contacted by text message with a link to book their appointments over the next 7 days. Patients who are unable to book in this way are asked to call the practice via the winter vaccine line (option 5 on our phone menu) after 2pm to make their appointment.
The practice will be offering flu vaccinations to patients who are over 65years, under 65 years with a long-term health condition, as well as to pregnant women and children aged 2 – 3ys. If you are in one of these groups, the practice will be in touch with you shortly inviting you to book your appointment.
Covid Autumn Vaccinations
Covid Vaccinations will begin from early October at Oakfield Surgery.
Please wait to be contacted by Oakfield Surgery to book your appointment. The NHS will start to invite people in priority order of risk and those eligible will be able to book an appointment via a text message from Oakfield surgery or via the national booking service by calling 119.
