Armed Forces Veterans

Are you an armed forces veteran?

Please let us know as we are now accredited as a Veteran Friendly Practice. You can inform us by emailing the practice at or completing a "Military Veteran" form at reception.

We are keen to get your medical records coded correctly.

A veteran is someone who has served in the armed forces or been a reserve for at least one day.

You may be eligible for priority NHS treatment, if your condition/disability can be partially or wholly attributed to your military service under the rules set up by the Commissioning Board Mandate, the NHS Constitution and the Armed Forces Covenant.

We can help signpost you to other resources that may be useful;

  • The Veterans Gateway who have a 24/7 phoneline and are first point of contact for welfare needs including housing, finances, employment
  • Veterans Trauma Network  for serious injuries and long term physical, mental and neurological health conditions and disabilities – referral can be made via email by your GP
  • Veterans Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service(TILS)
  • Veterans Complex Treatment Service (CTS)
  • High Intensity Service (HIS) crisis in need of urgent care
