Chronic Disease Management with a particular interest in Diabetes, Asthma & COPD and Elderly Care.
June 2013
As a Pharmacist I have specialist training on medications and can therefore carry out medication reviews, deal with prescription queries, hospital discharge letters and outpatient prescriptions and conduct long term clinics for patients with conditions such as Asthma, COPD and Diabetes. I am an Independent Prescriber and can therefore change medication regimens and issue prescriptions if required. I recently completed a minor ailments course and will be assisting the GP's by offering this service soon.
Ideally the Pharmacist should be the patient's first port of call with a medication query.
I live in Milton Keynes with my husband and 2 children. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking and Zumba Classes

I have nearly 25years experience working across multiple pharmacy sectors. Qualified initially as a hospital pharmacist, I moved into community pharmacy where I spent 16years. I made the move to primary care in 2014 working in GP practices in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I now lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Central Maple PCN in a clinical role four days a week.
I live with my husband and 3 children in Oxfordshire. In my spare time I enjoy entertaining, shopping, R&B + soul sounds, and most of all cultural and creative cooking. More recently developed green fingers, succeeding at gardening and walking the countryside.

November 2022
Before joining Poplar Grove practice, I worked as a community pharmacist in a busy Oxfordshire pharmacy. During this time, I continually supported patients with their medications, and I am acutely aware of the many challenges that patients face. As a Pharmacist I look to use my knowledge of medication to provide practical advice and alternative solutions.
I am due to complete an additional postgraduate qualification in March 2024 which will see me become an independent prescriber allowing me to further support patients regimens and enable access to medication.
I am confident the role of Pharmacists in primary care will continue to grow and look forward to the opportunities and challenges it presents. The opportunity to work alongside colleagues of other professions with vast experience and skills only serves to support this.
I love spending time outdoors whether in my garden or exploring running trails. I am a keen cook, especially homemade pasta, and enjoy entertaining.

Charlotte and myself are doing a duel role where we work in the community and labour ward, which will allow us to use all our midwifery skills but also hopefully care for some of our women in labour too, enabling continuity of care for them.
Outside of work I like seeing friends and family, spending lots of time with my two little nephews.

I like to work in a wide range of areas within midwifery. I feel this gives me a good all round knowledge of the care available to women throughout pregnancy and birth. You may find me in Antenatal clinic, on Labour Ward, or looking after you with the theatre team if you are having an elective caesarean.
My 2 children keep me very busy outside of work. I also have a strong Christian faith and a wonderful church family.
