ADHD- right to choose
ADHD- right to choose
If you are based in England under the NHS, you now have a legal right to choose your mental healthcare provider and your choice of mental healthcare team
The first step is do your research on all the providers available under “right to choose”. Below is a link to a very useful website with the providers listed, please note that although it is “ADHD UK” there are the providers for an Autism assessment listed their too.

If you are looking for ADHD Assessment and would like to be prescribed medication, you need to choose a provider that will prescribe medication directly to you without a shared care agreement as we are unable to enter shared care with any of the providers. You also need to be aware that there may be a charge for these prescriptions if they can't be issued via the NHS Pathway.
When researching your chosen provider, please consider their location, waiting lists and prescribing policies. We are not permitted to give any recommendation on preferred providers.
Once you have chosen your Right to Choose provider to let us know via an EConsult submission and we will inform you of the next steps.
