Nursing Team
The practice nurses and HCA's deal with prevention rather than treatment. In their clinics they are available for general advice and counselling on health related and lifestyle topics. They undertake certain blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECGs, cervical smears, childhood immunisations, family planning, menopause and travel medicine.
If you have been advised by the hospital to have stitches removed or a dressing applied. Do not leave it until the day the procedure is due, you will be turned away if there is no availability.
