We have some big news that we know our patients will be pleased to hear about!

We can now finally confirm that we have signed a contract with a NEW telephone provider... Surgery Connect. 

We have taken on board our patient and staff feedback and we are aware our telephone system is not fit for purpose. With some help from the local ICB (Integrated Care Board formally; CCG) we plan to launch our new telephone system on Friday 26th August. 

Surgery Connect is being rolled out across many practices in Buckinghamshire over the coming months and we are very excited to be able to provide a modern and advanced telephone system.

Here are a few key features that we hope will improve your experience when contacting the practice; 

  • High Call Volume - Patient callback holds the patients' place in the call queue after they have called in and hung up. They receive a callback instead of waiting on the line... saving time and money!
  • Integrated with patient record systems, means when a patient speaks to any member of the practice team their information is automatically to hand, eliminating frustrating delays. 
  • Surgery Connect can be configured to inform patients with high quality voice messages at every stage of their journey, minimising stress.
  • When deployed at scale, phone services allow patients to self-serve without waiting to speak with a member of the Patient Services Team. Examples include checking or cancelling appointments, or requesting links to more information or online services. 

We hope that our launch does not affect patients contacting the practice however there may be a period of "down time" during the launch day on 26th August 2022.
